Art has been personal training for 8 years. In addition to modern resistance training, Art offers an optional workout of fitness boxing - Western style boxing. This is great for weight loss (in unison with a proper eating plan).

Unlike traditional prize-fighter clubs, no client gets hit, and the workout outside the boxing is proper science for regular people - no obsolete sit-ups or having medicine balls thrown against ribs. Art's fitness boxing includes learning the "sweet science" for practical knowledge and empowerment. Art makes it fun to learn boxing. A great supplement to add to your strength and cardio routines.

Most recent success stories are Amanda and Jenny. Both have reduced their weight significantly (40lbs) since training with Art and changing their eating habits. Art utilizes weightlifting routines that focus on volume and calorie burn - not bulk training. As long as a healthy eating plan is followed, clients turn their metabolism into a furnace - even enjoying the occasional junk food forays with no ill effect to their weight or waistline. Moderation is key.

In summary, whether your goal is to strengthen muscles/bones and increase heart health, or you want a major appearance change, Art will show you courtesy and a hard workout - the kind most people won't do on their own.

Available late mornings, afternoons, and evenings Sunday through Thursday. No Fridays or Saturdays

Personal training client testimonials:

Amanda
What impressed me after our first few sessions together was his positive attitude and desire to see his clients satisfied with their progress. I have made significant improvements in my body composition, diet, and fitness habits. This would not have been possible without Art challenging and coaching me through it.

Todd
When I first joined a gym a couple of years ago I knew I was out of shape and I was a bit frightened by all the folks that seemed to know what they were doing, that they were watching me.

Art helped me understand that we ALL have to start somewhere and that I'd understand soon enough that once you start working out you're not paying attention to other folks. I've worked with Art and in the process lost about 30 pounds and gained significant strength and muscle mass. In addition I have gained a lot of confidence about my body and my ability to accomplish my goals. Art is the kind of trainer that helped me shape up my attitude and perspective as well as my body.

I don't know if he understands what a profound impact he has had on my life.
